Start doing this and you will improve your memory

A recent study from the University of Geneva (UNIGE) aimed to discover that, besides positive body impact, regular exercising will also improve your memory.

Parts of the brain which control thinking and memory have greater volume in those people who exercise regularly.

Exercising has ability to:

- reduce the insulin resistance

- reduce inflammation

- stimulate the release of the chemicals in our brain that affect the health of brain cells

- stimulate the growth of new blood vessels in the brain

- improve your sleep

- reduce stress and anxiety

All of these directly or indirectly affects your cognitive functionality.

Another study conducted by the same research team found that exercise positively affected associative memory. They are currently exploring how these discoveries could help people who are at high risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
