Parkinson’s disease and gut health. Is there a connection?

Our gut health is tightly linked to our overall health.

Numerous diseases, mental health disorders, autoimmune diseases, cancers, and many other conditions could be traced back to the health of our digestive system.

In the latest studies, researchers are investigating the link between gut health and Parkinson’s disease.

The results of the studies have shown certain differences between the microbiome in the gut of a person with PD and the one without PD. It appears these changes in the gut could be connected to certain symptoms of PD.

Bacteria that boost gut health could slow down and even reverse the development of a protein linked to Parkinson’s disease.

This is a very important piece of information for further research and potential development of the treatment and prevention of this terrible disease.

How to prevent it?

✅ Fresh and raw vegetables

✅ Omega 3 fatty acids

✅ Vitamin D3

✅ Green tea

✅ Regular exercising
