Back training day

Today Ed and I had a extremely intense back workout combined with a bit of corrective exercise for the chest and core. It was a super back training that I would like to share with you all.

I see that many people find training the back a real challenge because they cannot feel the back muscles working when they train. This is very common because you can't see the back and your biceps are heavily involved in all back exercises. Many times you get a great biceps pump and little else. The secret to taking the biceps out of the picture is to visualize them as hooks. The other secret is to begin all movements with the back muscles instead of pulling with the arms.

The routine:

1st Super Set

Cable rowing 6 x 12/10/8/6/15/20

Cable pullover 6 x 12/10/8/6/15/20

2nd Super Set

Chin ups 4 x 8-10

Cable reverse flyer 4 x 10-12
