We tend to do many things without being completely sure and fully aware of whether they are actually good for us, and if they are, to what extent. Therefore, my goal with this post is to raise awareness and educate people in order to help them make better choices that may affect their health in some beneficial ways.
Hip abduction/adduction machines - overrated
Most machines that involve sitting and activating only one muscle group are not worth your time. Sitting allows you to relax your core too much, which further leads to weak core and bad posture.Â
Instead, try doing standing hip abduction and adduction. It will activate more muscle groups and you will need to work on your stability at the same time.
Cold pressed juices - overratedÂ
A daily cup of green drink or some sort of cold pressed juice may sound like a good idea, but you may want to rethink that.Â
When a fruit or vegetable is juiced, the vital fiber in it is extracted, leaving you with a beverage that still has some nutritional value left, but usually with way too much sugar.
Beans - underratedÂ
Beans are great for your health and full of healthy ingredients. In addition to that, they are very cheap and budget-friendly. They are packed with proteins, minerals and fiber, and they don’t contain any cholesterol or saturated fats.
